QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Master's or Ph.D. degree is preferred. Significant experience working with biological imaging and sample preparation, as well as experience working with a diversity of biological organisms (animals, plants, fungi, etc.) is preferred. Additional skills in ultramicrotomy, microscopy, computers and imaging skills are desirable. Research experience and previous work in a teaching environment are also desirable. The position offers opportunities for training in advanced microscopy techniques including TEM, SEM and cryo-preservation.
