photographic equipment

Lest we forget, scientific imaging was carried by silver based photography (Film photography) since its invention (as result of scientific research)for over 150 years, before the advent of "digital pictures". Even today in a number of instances, silver based photography can exceed digital imaging in terms of cost, quality, archivability, and data denisty. Yes, microscopy is heading towards 100% digital - but it is not there yet.
The EM Facility supports both electronic (analog and digital) and film based photography.
